A Plumber Who Answers His Own Phone

Declan Willis started Cuyahoga Plumbing in 2008 with a simple goal: honest, reliable plumbing work without the runaround. He still handles most of the hands-on work himself, and he still answers his own phone for most calls.

Declan is licensed and trained in residential and light commercial plumbing. He has worked on enough older Cleveland-area homes to know his way around outdated galvanized pipe and tricky basement setups, and he keeps up with local code requirements so inspections go smoothly the first time.

Before anything is cut, opened or replaced, he explains exactly what is going on and gives you the price. He will not sell you work you do not need, and he would rather do the job right the first time than rush to the next one. After more than 15 years, most of our new customers come from referrals.

Getting Started: Common Questions

How quickly will I hear back?

Declan answers his own phone for most calls. If he is on a job and misses yours, he tries to get back to you the same day, and urgent problems such as a burst pipe or no hot water come first. Our hours are Mon–Fri 8:00 am–9:30 pm and Sat–Sun 7:00 am–9:00 pm.

Which areas do you serve?

Cuyahoga Falls and the surrounding area, including Stow, Silver Lake, Munroe Falls, Tallmadge, Hudson and the nearby parts of Akron. The service area page lists every town with its ZIP code and has a quick ZIP checker.

What should I do in a plumbing emergency?

Stop the water first. The main shutoff valve is usually where the water line comes through the basement wall or floor, next to the meter; turn it clockwise until it stops. If water is near outlets or the electrical panel, stay clear of it. Then call (330) 406-3048 and describe what you see.

Our frozen pipe page covers what to do when a pipe bursts in winter.

Will I know the price before you start?

Yes. Declan quotes every job upfront and explains exactly what is going on with your plumbing before any work begins. You will not find extra fees padded onto the invoice, and we do not sell services you do not need.

Do you take commercial work?

Yes. Along with residential service calls, we handle larger commercial projects. Declan is licensed and trained in residential and light commercial plumbing. Tell us about the building and the job on the request form or by phone.
